Azerbaijan and Beauty exhibition:
As the wellbeing of the population of Azerbaijan improves, the need for the products and services of the beauty industry keeps steadily growing.
Over the first nine months of 2009, Azerbaijan’s population's income and average monthly salary rose by 10 percent and 15 percent, respectively. Rising incomes, wide availability made cosmetics and perfumery affordable by the middle income group.
The cosmetics and toiletries market continued to witness solid growth in value sales in 2009. Hair care, colour cosmetics, bath and shower products, men’s grooming products, skin care and oral hygiene were amongst the top performing categories. The demand for products with natural ingredients and nourishing and healing effects underpinned growth in shampoo, body wash/shower gel, skin care, hand care and colour cosmetics.
Azerbaijani market is dominated by imported brands from such countries as Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland etc.
Organisation of the “Beauty Azerbaijan” exhibition is a natural result of the dynamic development of the beauty industry and promotes its further development.
